Chuchuwaya Hall – Temporary Drinking Water Access During Advisory

The Upper Similkameen Indian Band (USIB) and the Hedley Improvement District (HID) are pleased to advise that, while the Hedley Improvement District remains under a drinking water advisory, Hedley residents are welcome to fill personal water bottles and standard drinking water jugs at the outdoor tap located at Chuchuwaya Hall.

To help conserve water during current drought conditions, this access is intended for drinking and cooking water only.

Residents are asked to limit their use to personal water bottles and standard drinking water jugs.

Please do not fill water totes, RVs, or other large storage containers.

We sincerely thank the Upper Similkameen Indian Band for their generosity and support of our community during this time.

We also thank everyone for respecting these guidelines and helping to conserve water.
